This little project was initially intended to be a cushion cover, but once it was all quilted, I loved it so much I thought it would look great as a piece of wall art - and it does! I finished it off with hand binding and added 2 flaps in the top corners which the dowelling rests in so it can be hung up. I have tried it on 1 nail, and it hangs perfectly with the nail hidden behind the hanging, but if you wanted extra stability you could use 2 nails. The wall hanging is made from 100% cotton fabrics and is machine washable, although it may not hang quite so flat after washing, so I'd personally wash at a low temperature and carefully flatten it out before it dries to help with this if you need to wash it.
