This quilt was made with a favourite pattern of mine called the double slice. It was the pattern I used for the first quilt I ever made, and one I often come back to when I want a traditional 'scrappy' look. Blue is my favourite colour, and this one is full of blue in varying shades, with some lovely sewing quotes too, which I heartily agree with! The quilt is a good size, measuring 67 x 58 inches, which is either a large single size with plenty of room to wrap up in, or it can be laid over a double bed for an extra layer. (or used as a sofa throw for decoration and snuggling of course)  I have pictured it on both a single bed and a king size bed for scale/comparison, but unfortunately we don't have a double one. All the fabrics used are 100% cotton and it has been quilted with a free motion stipple design, with hand binding to finish. It is machine washable, and care instructions are included with each quilt, along with colour catcher sheets for your first wash.
